Hello! We're seeking talented and creative remote video editors to join our dynamic, growing team. We have part-time (20hrs/wk) positions available. This is for part-time. If you're passionate about creating engaging short-form content for social media, we'd love to hear from you!

About the Role:
We're looking for skilled video editors to create high-quality short-form content that aligns with our brand's voice and engages our audience across platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve is required. If you're passionate about crafting viral-worthy short videos, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into captivating 15-60 second videos for social media platforms
- Create thumb-stopping hooks and engaging storytelling within short timeframes
- Add trending music, sound effects, and captions optimized for each platform
- Implement platform-specific trends and effects to maximize engagement
- Perform color correction and grading for consistency across content
- Sync audio perfectly with visual elements for maximum impact
- Optimize content for each platform's algorithm (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram)
- Maintain branding and style consistency while staying trendy
- Organize and manage video assets for quick turnaround times
- Export content in various aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1) for different platforms
- Create multiple variations of content to test performance
- Stay current with platform trends and implement them quickly
- Collaborate with the content team to identify viral opportunities

Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of proven experience in short-form video production
- Excellent video editing skills using DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of social media trends and platform-specific best practices
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with quick turnaround times
- Keen eye for creating scroll-stopping moments
- Deep understanding of TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels algorithms
- Experience creating viral-style content
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Understanding of video codecs and compression for mobile
- Knowledge of text animation and motion graphics
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Familiarity with Google Drive
- Creative mindset with an eye for trends

Requirements:
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (do not apply if you do not use DaVinci Resolve)
- Experience in short-form editing, including transitions, text animation, and effects
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple short-form projects simultaneously
- Experience with vertical video (9:16) editing
- A PC with suitable specs to run DaVinci Resolve efficiently
- Stable, wired internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download/upload speeds
- Familiarity with Frame.io for project collaboration
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Experience with viral marketing techniques
- Knowledge of sound design for short-form content
- Understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics
- Experience with UGC (User Generated Content) style videos
