App Developer (Software Developer) for Addiction Recovery App – Beta Version

Sunrise Recovery is seeking an experienced App Developer to help build a beta version of a simple, user-friendly app specifically designed for our addiction recovery alumni. This app will serve as a resource, support tool, and community hub to enhance the recovery experience post-treatment.

The ideal candidate is highly skilled in app development and has a strong understanding of large language models (LLMs). We aim to integrate AI-driven features into the app for personalized support and engagement.

Responsibilities:

Develop a beta version of the addiction recovery app, focusing on user-centered design and functionality.
Implement and optimize AI features using LLMs to create a responsive, intelligent experience for alumni.
Collaborate with our team to integrate specific addiction recovery tools and resources that support sobriety and wellness.
Conduct testing to ensure app functionality, security, and ease of use.
Gather user feedback to iterate and improve the app’s features in preparation for a full release.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in mobile app development (iOS and/or Android).
Strong proficiency in integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) for app functionalities.
Familiarity with addiction recovery support features or interest in understanding the needs of people in recovery.
Solid knowledge of coding languages relevant to mobile development (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, JavaScript, Python).
Experience with app testing, debugging, and beta release processes.
Preferred Skills:

Experience in developing apps focused on health, wellness, or recovery support.
Understanding of HIPAA and data privacy requirements.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse team.
