Job Description
Purpose:
To lead the organization's digital fundraising efforts and engage with the online community to raise funds for our various initiatives, including feeding programs, musical talent hunts, and media skills training. This role will be crucial in driving online donations, building a strong online presence, and fostering meaningful relationships with donors and supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Fundraising Strategy:
Develop and implement innovative digital fundraising strategies, including crowdfunding campaigns, social media campaigns, and
Utilize platforms like GoFundMe, JustGiving, and Patreon to maximize online fundraising efforts.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital fundraising campaigns.
Community Engagement:
Build and maintain a strong online community through social media,
Engage with donors and supporters through regular communication, sharing impact stories, and seeking feedback.
Organize online events, such as virtual fundraisers and webinars, to connect with the community and generate support.
Content Creation:
Create compelling content, such as videos, blog posts, and social media posts, to inspire and engage the audience.
Utilize storytelling techniques to highlight the impact of the organization's work.
Optimize content for search engines to increase visibility and drive traffic to the organization's website.
Donor Relations:
Cultivate and nurture relationships with online donors, providing excellent customer service and addressing their inquiries promptly.
Implement donor recognition programs to appreciate and retain supporters.
Seek opportunities for donor upgrades and increased giving.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in digital fundraising and online marketing.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
