Company Overview:
We are a fast-growing e-commerce company specializing in UK-based logistics, sourcing, and order fulfillment. As we expand our operations, we seek an experienced and highly organized China Sourcing and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical in coordinating with Chinese suppliers, managing stock ordering, and overseeing import logistics from China to the UK.

Job Description:
The China Sourcing and Logistics Coordinator will work closely with suppliers in China to manage end-to-end logistics for our stock. The role involves product sourcing, order processing, shipment planning, and maintaining clear and effective communication with suppliers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in handling orders from China, understanding CBM (cubic meter) calculations for shipments, and navigating all aspects of importing goods into the UK.

Proficiency in Mandarin is not required but a plus. Preferably with experience working with Chinese suppliers and an understanding of sourcing and logistics processes in China.

Key Responsibilities:
*Coordinate with Chinese suppliers on stock ordering, product discussions, payment arrangements, and issue resolution.
*Oversee order processing from China, including planning and arranging shipments (sea freight) to the UK.
*Calculate and manage CBM requirements to ensure efficient shipment planning.
*Handle payment processing and financial arrangements with suppliers in China.
*Maintain strong, professional communication with suppliers to address and resolve any issues related to products or shipments.
*Ensure compliance with UK import regulations and manage the end-to-end logistics process for timely and cost-effective product delivery.
*Support the overall logistics and sourcing strategy by providing insights and suggestions for optimizing sourcing from China.

Skills and Qualifications:
*Experience: 2+ years in China sourcing, logistics, or order processing, specifically working with Chinese suppliers for UK-based import operations.
*Knowledge of Import Logistics: Familiarity with sea freight logistics, import regulations, and CBM calculations.
*Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate and negotiate with suppliers, with experience in handling complex orders and resolving logistical challenges.
*Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple orders, shipments, and supplier relationships simultaneously.
*Technical Proficiency: Experience with logistics management software, Google Workspace, or Microsoft Office Suite.
*Problem-Solving Skills: Able to anticipate and resolve issues related to supplier relationships, order delays, and import logistics.
*Availability to work flexible hours to coordinate with suppliers in China and logistics teams in the UK.
*Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to logistics and supplier management.
