Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Shopify E-commerce Executive Assistant to support the executive team and enhance the efficiency of our e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the e-commerce landscape, be comfortable with digital tools, and be capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations, effective communication, and strategic coordination to drive our e-commerce initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities
• Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the SHOPIFY e-commerce executive team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing presentations, and handling correspondence.
• SHOPIFY E-commerce Operations Support: Assist in managing daily e-commerce operations, including tracking order fulfillment, coordinating with logistics, and overseeing inventory levels to ensure efficient and timely delivery.
• Project Coordination: Assist in planning and executing e-commerce projects, such as new product launches, website updates, promotional campaigns, and seasonal sales events. Monitor project timelines and ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and analyze data on sales, SHOPIFY website performance, and customer feedback to provide insights for strategic decisions. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on key metrics.
• Vendor and Partner Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors, agencies, and partners, ensuring contracts are managed and deliverables are met.
• Customer Service Support: Oversee customer inquiries and support issues, working with the customer service team to maintain high satisfaction and ensure issues are resolved quickly.
• Content and Marketing Assistance: Help coordinate content creation, manage product listings, update SHOPIFY website content, and support digital marketing initiatives, including social media,
• Budget and Expense Tracking: Manage and track SHOPIFY e-commerce budgets, expenses, and invoices. Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to budgets.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in an executive assistant role, within a SHOPIFY e-commerce or digital business environment.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) and digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO tools).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; experience with project management tools (Asana, Trello) is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Personal Qualities: Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently. Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
