Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with a strong background in Photoshop to create, maintain, and enhance our websites. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a solid understanding of web development principles, and the ability to translate creative concepts into functional web solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
Customize existing themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
Utilize Photoshop to create and edit graphics, images, and layouts for web use.
Conduct website testing and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress development and design.
Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and accessibility.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, including image editing and graphic design.
Familiarity with web development tools and version control (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Conversational English skills to communicate effectively with the rest of the team during Zoom calls.
