Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Website Developer to design and build a dynamic website for our clinical research company, hosted on Squarespace. This is a freelance gig job with the potential for ongoing work. The ideal candidate will be capable of creating a professional, user-friendly, and responsive website tailored to our business needs using Squarespace’s platform.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop a dynamic, mobile-friendly website on Squarespace
Customize templates and integrate user-friendly navigation, content management, and interactive elements
Optimize the website for speed, SEO performance, and cross-browser compatibility
Ensure responsiveness across all devices (desktop, mobile, tablet)
Incorporate lead generation forms, data collection, and user interaction functionalities
Collaborate with the team to ensure the site meets branding and functionality requirements
Provide training or documentation for future website updates on Squarespace
Requirements:
Proven experience with Squarespace website development, including customizations and integrations
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for advanced customizations within Squarespace
Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices
Knowledge of SEO best practices and web performance optimization for Squarespace
Experience with clinical research or healthcare-related websites is a plus but not required
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years developing websites
Experience with integrating CRM tools and lead capture forms within Squarespace
Knowledge of GDPR and HIPAA compliance for handling sensitive data
Familiarity with Google Analytics and Squarespace’s built-in marketing tools
