I am hiring a Virtual Assistant (VA) to assist with Amazon Online Arbitrage. The main goal will be to identify profitable products for resale on Amazon and ensure that all potential items meet certain key criteria.
Product Research:
Conduct thorough product research on retail and online stores (e.g., Walmart, Target, Home Depot, etc.) to find items with potential for resale on Amazon at a profit.
Use product research tools such as Tactical Arbitrage, Keepa, Helium 10, SellerAmp, or other industry-standard tools to evaluate product profitability.
Profitability:
Calculate potential profit margins, including Amazon fees (FBA, referral fees, etc.), shipping costs, and product costs.
Ensure that each product has a minimum profit margin of 25?ter all expenses.
Ensure the product is not oversaturated on Amazon and has consistent sales rank or demand.
Product Criteria:
Brand Restrictions: Ensure that the product is not part of restricted or gated brands (unless the VA is familiar with how to handle these).
Condition: Focus on new (no used or damaged items).
Category: Research products within specific categories that are assessable to get ungates.
Sales Rank: Target products with a sales rank that is below 75,000 in the Amazon marketplace.
Reviews: Ensure the product has a reasonable number of reviews (e.g., under 1000) and a minimum average rating of [e.g., 4 stars or higher].
Inventory Sourcing:
Provide the source URL and product details, including the current price, shipping fees, and estimated delivery time.
Track discounts, clearance sales, and promotions to maximize profit margins.
Tools & Data Entry:
Use Amazon seller tools and software to validate the product’s profitability on Amazon (e.g., FBA calculators, Keepa, SellerAmp, etc.).
Maintain organized and accurate spreadsheets that include:
Product name
Source website/store
Amazon Link
Cost of goods
Amazon selling price
ROI margin
Profit
Sales rank
Amazon fees breakdown
Any notes on product restrictions, sourcing conditions, etc.
Communication & Reporting:
Provide regular reports on findings, including a list of potential products for arbitrage opportunities.
Be prepared to report on the status of the current sourcing, challenges encountered, and any changes in marketplace conditions that affect pricing or profitability.
Experience:
The ideal VA should have experience with Amazon Online Arbitrage and be familiar with using popular sourcing tools and strategies for identifying profitable products.
Familiarity with Amazon FBA is a must, as the VA will need to consider Amazon’s fees, shipping, and fulfillment processes.
