Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive Real Estate Research Specialist based in the Philippines to join our startup real estate division. This role is pivotal in identifying high-potential real estate opportunities in the US market. The ideal candidate will have a strong research background, experience in real estate analysis, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market & Property Research:
Conduct in-depth research on US real estate markets to identify investment opportunities, including single-family home foreclosures, tax lien properties, and non-performing mortgage notes.
Analyze data on vacant, shovel-ready land for short-term investments with high potential returns.
2. Lead Generation & Sourcing:
Utilize real estate research tools and databases (e.g., PropStream, DealMachine, BatchLeads) to compile lead lists of distressed properties and vacant land.
Proactively reach out to property owners, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to gather additional information and gauge interest in potential deals.
3. Preliminary Due Diligence:
Perform preliminary due diligence on prospective properties, including reviewing title status, lien information, and market comparables.
Compile detailed property reports and provide investment summaries for review by the BBC real estate team.
4. Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with the startup team to strategize on property acquisitions, providing valuable insights and recommendations based on research findings.
Prepare concise, data-driven reports and presentations for weekly tea
Qualifications:
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in real estate research, analysis, or a related role, ideally with a focus on the US market. Startup experience is a plus.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for uncovering hidden opportunities.
Familiarity with US real estate markets, particularly in areas of foreclosures, tax liens, and distressed property acquisitions.
Proficient in using real estate research tools and platforms (e.g., PropStream, Zillow, BatchLeads).
Adaptability: Comfort working in a startup environment where priorities can shift rapidly, requiring a flexible and proactive approach.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM software for lead management and data tracking.
