**Job Title:** Full-Time Grant Researcher and Writer

We are currently looking for a dedicated Grant Researcher and Writer to help secure the necessary funding for our initiatives.
**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Grant Researcher and Writer from the Philippines to assist us in identifying, researching, and securing grants to support our diverse projects across the USA, Africa, and beyond. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire grant process, from identifying funding opportunities to crafting compelling grant proposals, and ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted on time.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Grant Research and Identification:** Conduct research to identify grant opportunities that align with BBC's initiatives, focusing on local, international, government, and private funding sources.
- **Proposal Writing:** Prepare high-quality, persuasive grant proposals and applications tailored to each funding organization's requirements and preferences.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with the project leads and impact teams to gather and compile the necessary information to craft compelling narratives.
- **Grant Management:** Manage grant timelines and ensure that proposals are submitted before deadlines, maintaining accurate records of grant requirements, submissions, and reporting schedules.
- **Reporting:** Draft and prepare reports and documentation required by funders, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and a high level of detail and quality.
- **Database Management:** Maintain a comprehensive database of grant opportunities, submitted proposals, and awarded grants, along with reporting obligations.
**Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** At least 2 years of experience in grant research, writing, and management with a successful track record of securing grants.
- **Education:** Degree in Communications, English, Development Studies, or a related field.
- **Skills:**
- Strong research skills and the ability to effectively identify suitable grant opportunities.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience drafting compelling grant proposals.
- Knowledge of grant funding processes across government, foundation, and corporate sectors.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple deadlines.
- **Communication:** Strong communication skills, comfortable working in a remote environment and collaborating with a global team.
- **Technological Skills:** Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and grant management or research tools.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience in international development, agriculture, or affordable housing grants.
- Familiarity with impact investment or projects focusing on sustainable development.
- Experience using grant management software.
