Overview:
BB8 Freight Company is looking for a dedicated Remote Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator to assist with key logistics tasks, primarily between 8 PM - 6 AM Central Time. The candidate will also provide after-hours phone support for our sister company. This role is perfect for a proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Broker Communication:
Email
Resolve issues promptly by coordinating with brokers to ensure smooth operations.
Breakdown Management:
Contact service providers for breakdown repairs or towing.
Schedule and follow up on necessary services to minimize downtime.
Load Management:
Search and secure new loads if a truck assignment is canceled.
Stay updated with load boards and proactively secure backup loads.
Driver Support:
Answer incoming calls from drivers, addressing inquiries or directing them to the correct department.
Monitor driver chat groups and provide timely support or solutions as needed.
After-Hours Support for Sister Company:
Handle phone calls for our sister company outside standard business hours, ensuring seamless support between 8 PM - 6 AM Central Time.
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate records of communications, loads, and issue resolutions.
Work collaboratively with US-based teams to align on daily priorities.
Qualifications:
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
Ability to work during US Central Time (8 PM - 6 AM).
Experience in logistics, trucking, or dispatching is highly preferred.
Familiarity with load boards and basic logistics software is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.

Reliable internet connection and backup power source for uninterrupted work.
Quiet and professional home office setup.
