Product Owner

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with a background in startup environments to drive our product’s development from conception to launch. This role requires a strong balance of technical understanding, design proficiency, and agile methodology. You will work cross-functionally as a product owner to prioritize development across 2 development teams of ~12 people and 3-5 projects in total to ensure that the tasks with the highest value to users are being delivered at any point of time.

Norwegian-Indian startup lab, both building our own companies and scaling other startups, developing products. Our team includes entrepreneurs, designers and developers with a deep passion for products and services that help creative people with great ideas build, launch and grow their startup in record time.

Responsibilities:
- Lead product development and own the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Translate high-level product ideas into detailed requirements, user stories, and actionable tasks.
- Collaborate closely with development and design teams, utilizing Figma to create and iterate on wireframes and mockups.
- Apply Lean/Agile principles to prioritize features, sprints, and iterations to deliver continuous improvements.
- Facilitate and participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups using Jira and other Atlassian tools.
- Ensure smooth project flow, from ideation to successful release, focusing on delivering value to users and stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to convey progress, gather feedback, and align on - goals.
- Support testing and quality assurance to deliver functional, user-friendly, and bug-free products.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
- Proven experience with startup companies.
- Fully proficient in FIGMA for wireframing and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies, with the ability to adapt and apply them to changing project needs.
- Working knowledge of coding principles to better collaborate with development teams.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and the ATLASSIAN SUITE for project management.
- Track record of contributing to successful product launches, with a product that effectively serves its users.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Highly structured, organized, and detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering results.

Salary:
Up to $4,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
