Short Form Video Editor Specialist

Hey, my name is Luke Damant. A travel content creator from Australia with over 9 million followers online.

We are expanding our online presence, and as such are hiring a full-time short-form content specialist to join our growing team.

As a short-form editor, you will be required to edit entertaining content from our Youtube videos. You must ensure there is storyline, great clip selection, and hooks to capture the audience.

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the creative vision for short-form content.
Create, review and edit videos.
Ensuring all videos meet technical and quality standards.
Manage the 3 Tik Tok accounts we publish on.
Manage the 2 Youtube accounts we post on, for shorts.
Manage the 2 Instagram accounts we post on.
Keeping up with current trends and best practices in video editing and production.
Provide feedback to Luke and the team on ways to improve and enhance videos.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a video editor
Strong writing and editing skills
Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
Knowledge of video editing software (Premiere Pro users will be favoured)
Experience with colour correction and audio mixing.

We are looking for a long-term team member who is willing to learn and get better every day, someone that we can meet overseas and have a fun time with, and build a strong relationship with. Training will be provided directly by the content team managers.
