Hello,
We are looking for an experienced video editor who will join our dynamic team. We want someone who is passionate about editing long-form videos, has an eye for detail, creating compelling visual content for various platforms, and is skilled with video editing software! The ideal candidate will have a strong creative vision, exceptional technical skills, and a proven track record of delivering outstanding long-form video content. EXPERIENCE IN EDITING PODCAST VIDEO IS A PLUS!
Key Responsibilities:
>>Editing Video & Podcast Footage: Take raw footage (video and audio) and shape it into a polished final product. This includes selecting the best clips, cutting and rearranging footage, and adding transitions, effects, and sound design.
>> Creating a storyline: Working with the team to create a cohesive narrative that engages the audience.
>> Color correction and grading: Must ensure that the colors in the footage are accurate and consistent throughout the entire video. This often involves adjusting the brightness, contrast, saturation, and other elements to make the footage look its best.
>> Audio editing: Sound is an important part of any video, so video editors must ensure that the audio levels are consistent and that the sound quality is clear.
>> Collaboration: Must be a team player. They must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively to achieve the desired results.
>> Organization: Must be highly organized, keeping track of large amounts of footage and making sure that everything is in the right place.
>> Keeping up with new technology: Willing to learn different video editing tools.
>> Attention to details: Must ensure that the final output has no errors or missed cuts.
Requirements:
-- Asynchronized work schedule in the Pacific Time Zone
-- Must be great with Video Editing for multiple channels ( LinkedIn, YouTube,
-- Will be responsible for editing from a weekly podcast as well as from an archive of videos
-- Must understand the brand and the company voice and be able to cut videos that support that message
-- Able to provide suggestions and direction for improving the current system
-- Able to create the plan for their work and execute
-- Must be curious, a logical thinker, very organized, lead task management and exhibit professionalism
-- Capable to work independently and meet deadlines and expected turn around times daily
-- Proactive Communicator - Provide updates on projects. ask questions when needed and respond to coworkers promptly
