Business Analyst

Company Overview:
We are a forward-thinking organization within the dental industry, committed to helping dental practices optimize operations, improve efficiencies, and make data-driven decisions. We seek an experienced Business Analyst as an independent contractor to support our internal operations and work with our finance coaching clients on various projects to enhance reporting capabilities and operational effectiveness.

Position Summary:
The Business Analyst will collaborate with our leadership and operations teams to analyze business operations, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes to improve performance and profitability. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong background in operations analysis, process improvement, and data visualization within the healthcare or dental industry. The role involves both internal project work and direct support for finance coaching clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze business processes, workflows, and data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide insights into key performance metrics for internal and client projects.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making for both internal teams and clients.
- Assist in the development and documentation of operational policies and procedures.
- Provide recommendations on process optimization, resource allocation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Support project management efforts for new initiatives and business transformations for both internal operations and client-focused projects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the dental, healthcare, or service industry.
- Strong proficiency with data analysis tools and experience with ERP/CRM systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to draw actionable insights from data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
- Proven track record of working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in the dental or healthcare industry is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, SQL, and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is advantageous.
