Key Responsibilities:
1. Advanced Bookkeeping & Accounting Support
- Conduct comprehensive cleanup of financial books to ensure accurate, up-to-date, and fully reconciled records.
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including detailed accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Record, classify, and reconcile financial transactions with precision across multiple accounts.
- Prepare, review, and maintain expense reports, general ledgers, and financial documentation.
- Assist in month-end closings, preparation of financial statements, and year-end audits.
- Support payroll processing and manage all payroll-related records with confidentiality.
- Provide in-depth assistance with US tax-related documents, filings, and compliance preparations.
2. Data Entry, Cleanup & File Management
- Accurately input and reconcile financial data, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.
- Organize and maintain a structured filing system (both digital and physical) for financial and tax-related records.
- Proactively identify discrepancies and clean up outdated or inaccurate entries.
- Archive and secure sensitive documents while ensuring compliance with data privacy and confidentiality standards.

- Manage financial correspondence, including vendor inquiries, payment follow-ups, and tax notifications.
- Draft professional responses and ensure prompt handling of critical communications.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
- Track deadlines, follow up on pending financial tasks, and manage communication priorities effectively.
4. Administrative Support & Document Preparation
- Prepare, format, and review key financial documents, including reports, summaries, and presentations.
- Assist in tracking and categorizing expenses with meticulous attention to detail.
- Handle various administrative tasks such as scheduling, calendar management, and task follow-ups.
- Organize and assist with tax season preparations, ensuring compliance with all applicable US tax laws.
Qualifications:
- Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in professional bookkeeping, accounting, or financial data management.
- Proficiency in cleaning up complex books, reconciling discrepancies, and managing historical records.
- Expertise with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and digital filing systems.
- Familiarity with US tax processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
