We are looking to add a Lead Manager to join the team. This position is full time (40 hours per week, 9am - 5pm CST business hours Mon-Friday). Potential for high earnings tied to your performance (in addition to the salary, we also will pay out a bonus when we sell the deals that you had helped us acquire). Our business buys and sells vacant land all across the United States. We only specialize in vacant land, and do not sell any other type of real estate.
For generating sellers leads we currently send direct mail (letters to vacant land owners) that contain “blind offers”. Our intention is to find vacant land owners that are looking to sell their land quickly for cash. We would like to expand into cold-texting soon, but as of now all of our leads are coming from direct mail.
We currently generate 5-20 new seller leads form direct mail per month, but we need someone to follow up with each lead. This will often involve re-negotiating price (either up or down depending on the circumstances). As a part of this position, we will need you to call our seller leads, discuss their land (while also evaluating it yourself using tools), and ultimately negotiate a purchase price that is below market value. If you are able to successfully do this, we can purchase the land, list it for sale at a higher price, and when it sells - we will pay you a bonus.
During times when the business does not have leads to follow up with, this role is expected to support other areas of the business as required such as supporting the selection of new markets and creation of standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Following up with seller leads, evaluating the deal by assessing market value and the land itself. Re-negotiating the offer price. - - Getting deals under contract.
- Keeping all seller leads in FUB up to date with accurate information.
- Generating comparable sales for like kind properties in the same area (we will provide training on how to comp properties)
- Reviewing the property details such as topography, floodplains, legal access, utilities, etc (all info must be added into the seller record in our CRM)
- Calling back the lead within 10 minutes of arrival into the CRM during business hours
- Calling the county to source information about the property when it can not be found online
- Setting follow up tasks / next steps in FUB as needed
- Helping the business grow by supporting the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) in Notion
- Communicating with the rest of the team on

- Monday - Friday 9am to 5:00pm Central Standard Time
Pay Transparency:
- Base Salary - Starting at $1200/month, up to $1800/month (based on experience) + $200 per closed deal [when we sell and profit off of the deal you helped us acquire]
