Who We Are:

We're not your typical company. If anything, we’re purposely anti-corporate. It’s led by founder Dustin Overbeck, who already worked in corporate for nine years.

And you know what? He didn’t want to build a company that was going to be just a place where you “work to live”, waiting for the weekend to come so you can do something fun. He wanted to make it non-corporate

Instead, he wanted to build a company where the fun happens at the workplace. That’s why we’re really focused on finding people who fit in well with our corporate culture. People who really like working with their colleagues. We actually do group interviews so that current employees & contractors can select who they want to have as their next coworker.

Ultimately, we’re working together in a dynamic and fluid environment. You’ll be able to work with other exceptional people who are competent, resourceful and who are building solutions using the latest technology.

We are different from most other companies, especially those in the Govtech world. As a matter of fact, many of our Govtech competitors are 10x larger than us. Some of them have raised tens of millions of dollars. And some of them will even say they’ve hit a billion-dollar valuation, which means they’re unicorns.

Well, we’re not a unicorn, and we probably won’t be. And we’re also not a company that runs on quantitative metrics and spreadsheets. Instead, we want to make an impact on the clients we service.

Our mission is simple: to develop and sell time-saving solutions to our US-based clients who truly like working with us.

About the Company:

HeyGov is a startup company in the GovTech. While we aren’t a unicorn, and probably never will be, we do have a unique way to solve problems for our clients.

Our main end users and clients are local government in the US. We mostly work with city clerks, city managers and public information officers. We have developed and roll out digital solutions to US-based municipalities. We're the 'HubSpot for local government' - a comprehensive platform that local officials rely on daily to save time, streamline operations, and provide digital services to their citizens.

Our user-friendly tools cover everything from permit applications to meeting minutes management, empowering local governments to enhance community engagement and simplify administrative tasks

What you will be doing:

-Set Appointments: Schedule appointments for our sales team with qualified leads, ensuring a seamless transition to the sales process.
-Build Relationships: Develop and maintain rapport with prospects to understand their pain points and tailor your approach accordingly.
-Track & Report: Maintain accurate records of interactions, appointments, and lead statuses using our CRM system, providing insights and feedback to improve our outreach strategy.
-Collaborate: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align efforts and optimize lead conversion.

What we are looking for:

-Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
-Outgoing Personality: A positive, energetic attitude with a knack for building relationships.
-Goal-Oriented: A driven mindset with a passion for achieving targets and contributing to team success.
-Sales Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in a sales or appointment-setting role is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
-Tech-Savvy: Comfort with CRM systems and digital communication tools.

About the position:

-This will be remote position.
-Working hours would be during US time zone. 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (preferred)
-In addition to being exceptional we're also looking for somebody who has a very positive energy, motivated, and team player!
