What are the VA's primary responsibilities?
UI/UX Design:
Conduct user research and analysis to understand user needs and preferences.
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize design concepts.
Develop user flows and interaction designs to ensure a seamless user experience.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to bring designs to life.
Front-End Development:
Convert designs into functional HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
Optimize code for performance and accessibility.
Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and best practices.
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with APIs.
Figma Expertise:
Proficiency in using Figma for creating design assets and collaborating with team members.
Ability to export designs in various formats (e.g., PNG, SVG, PDF) for development.
Familiarity with Figma's design system features and best practices.

What would a typical day in this role look like? 
Morning Stand-up: Participating in a daily team meeting to discuss project progress, identify roadblocks, and assign tasks.
Design Review: Reviewing and providing feedback on design concepts or prototypes created by other team members.
Front-End Development: Working on implementing design elements into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
Figma Work: Creating or updating design assets in Figma, such as wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
Code Review: Reviewing and providing feedback on the code written by other developers.
User Testing: Conducting usability testing to gather feedback on the user experience and identify areas for improvement.
Project Meetings: Attending meetings with product managers, stakeholders, and other team members to discuss project requirements and progress.

What are the “must-have” skillsets of a successful candidate?
Strong UI/UX Design Skills: Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
Proficient in Figma: Mastery of Figma for creating design assets and collaborating with others.
Front-End Development Expertise: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve design and development challenges.
Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in design and development.

What are the “nice-to-have” skillsets of a successful candidate?
Experience with Angular or Other Frameworks: Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks.
Knowledge of Accessibility Standards: Understanding of WCAG guidelines for creating accessible designs.
Experience with User Research Methods: Ability to conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
Experience with Version Control Systems: Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.

What systems and software would you like the VA to be familiar with?
Design Tools: Figma Development Tools: Visual Studio Code, Sublime Text, or other code editors. Version Control: Git Project Management: Jira, Trello, or other project management tools. Collaboration Tools: Slack, Microsoft Teams, or other communication platforms.
