**Job Overview:**

We are a growing personal lines insurance agency in Austin, Texas seeking an experienced, results-driven Virtual Cold Caller/Telemarketer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging prospective clients through outbound calls, introducing them to our insurance services, and generating qualified leads for our sales agents. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in telemarketing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping people find the right insurance solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Make outbound cold calls to potential clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Generate interest in our agency’s personal lines insurance products (home, auto, renters, etc.)
- Qualify prospects and collect relevant contact details for our licensed agents
- Schedule follow-up appointments for our licensed agents to further discuss insurance options
- Track call outcomes, maintain accurate records in our CRM, and meet or exceed weekly performance targets
- Respond to initial questions or objections with tact, aiming to create a positive customer experience
- Continuously improve call scripts and techniques based on feedback and results

**Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 1 year of telemarketing/cold calling experience, ideally within insurance or real estate
- Knowledge of personal lines insurance (auto, home, renters) is a plus but not required
- Strong verbal communication skills with a clear, professional phone demeanor
- Resilient, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to handle objections professionally and overcome initial resistance
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Basic computer skills, with experience using CRM software and Microsoft Teams
