The Internal Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for recruiting top talent internally to support the growth of our team. This role involves articulating the company’s mission, values, and current needs to candidates, ensuring alignment with the company's culture and objectives. The Internal Talent Acquisition Specialist will independently conduct resume reviews, identify strong candidates, conduct phone interviews, and provide detailed candidate evaluations.

They will also oversee onboarding activities, ensuring new hires are smoothly integrated into the company. This includes preparing onboarding materials, facilitating communication with new team members, coordinating and conducting training sessions, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

The Internal Talent Acquisition Specialist will be expected to effectively utilize the company’s proprietary Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage the recruitment process from start to finish, as well as track onboarding progress. Proficiency in leveraging automation and complex systems to streamline recruitment and onboarding operations is essential. Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and an ability to screen for technical competency and cultural fit are critical to success in this role.

Starting pay: $7-15/hour USD

Location: Remote

Hours: Initial part-time work of 10-15 hours per week is to be expected during active hiring periods. Hours may fluctuate based on internal recruiting needs, with the potential for additional responsibilities in other areas of the business. While not a year-round position, this role could eventually evolve into a full-time opportunity based on performance and business growth.

Responsibilities:
• Recruit top talent for internal positions across various functions, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and growth strategies.
• Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Executive to define candidate profiles, update job descriptions, and ensure the recruitment strategy supports the company’s vision.
• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including resume reviews, evaluating candidate video responses from 1-way interviews, conducting phone interviews, and compiling detailed interview notes for decision-making.
• Screen candidates for technical competency, cultural fit, and alignment with the business model, ensuring that only the best candidates move forward in the process.
• Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing and delivering onboarding materials, coordinating and conducting initial training, and ensuring all required documentation is completed.
• Utilize the company’s ATS for all resume and candidate management activities, ensuring that all systems and processes are followed with attention to detail.
• Communicate fluently in English, both in written and verbal forms, to provide clear and effective communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Provide comprehensive feedback to the Talent Acquisition Executive on candidates’ technical capabilities, communication skills, and overall suitability for the role.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging recruitment technologies, and best practices to enhance internal recruitment strategies.

Qualifications:
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting, including resume review, interview techniques, and technical screening.
• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), including managing automations and leveraging complex systems for recruitment and onboarding operations.
• Prior experience managing onboarding processes, including documentation, conducting training sessions, and supporting new hire integration.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding attention to detail, with an ability to compile and present clear and concise notes for decision-making purposes.
• Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize multiple recruitment needs simultaneously.
• Able to work independently while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Prior experience in corporate recruiting or internal talent acquisition is a plus.

Working Conditions:
Employees of Griffin Resources operate in a professional office environment. Employees must provide themselves with a designated workspace free from noise and distractions when working remotely. The employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and virtual tools such as web cameras and video programs. The employee must be camera ready during normal working hours.
