Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to lead the development of our complex travel booking platform. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of building booking websites and apps, managing payment gateways, and integrating with third-party availability software used by hotels, lodges, and camps. You will be responsible for creating a reliable, user-friendly, and dynamic platform that enhances the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop a comprehensive travel booking website and mobile app capable of booking:
- Hotels, lodges, and camps
- Activities and tours at the destination
- Design and build an intuitive user interface (UI) for both the website and app, ensuring ease of use for all types of users.
- Implement and manage secure payment gateways for processing payments, ensuring high levels of security and compliance.
- Integrate with third-party availability software used by hotels and lodges to ensure accurate real-time booking data.
- Ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance, with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and make informed decisions about platform features.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to ensure the platform’s functionality and user experience.
- Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, and system) to identify and resolve issues before launch.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Proficiency in Full-Stack Development, with expertise in technologies such as:
- Frontend: React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
- Backend: Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or PHP (Laravel)
- Database Management: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Mobile App Development: Experience with frameworks like React Native, Flutter, or Swift for building mobile apps.
- Experience with booking websites, including handling:
- Complex booking workflows
- Real-time availability checks and updates
- Inventory management and scheduling
- Experience with payment gateway integration, such as Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, or other secure payment systems.
- Experience with third-party software integration, including hotel management systems and APIs (e.g., SiteMinder, Cloudbeds, or similar).
- Knowledge of API development and integration (RESTful, GraphQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with the team and stakeholders.

Experience Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in full-stack web and app development.
- At least 3 years of experience specifically in building booking platforms or similar complex websites.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end projects, from design to deployment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver on project goals.
