The Role:
As a Senior Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding our product’s feature set. Working closely with a small but dynamic team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features, optimizing existing functionality, and ensuring our platform scales effectively as we grow.
Your main focus will be on both backend and frontend development using:
- JavaScript/TypeScript for core application logic
- React for building responsive and engaging user interfaces
- Express for backend services and API development
- MongoDB for database management
- Next.js for server-side rendering and optimized performance
- Google Cloud (GCP) for scalable infrastructure and deployments

What You’ll Do:
- Develop, test, and deploy new features for our Shopify extension.
- Maintain and improve the existing codebase to ensure high performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate closely with product management, design, and other engineers to build high-quality software that aligns with user needs.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and lead by example in coding best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues as they arise.
- Actively participate in code reviews and mentor other team members.

Who You Are:
You’re an experienced full-stack developer with a strong command of TypeScript and a deep understanding of the modern web development ecosystem. You thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment and are comfortable owning significant portions of the product development lifecycle. You have a track record of delivering high-quality software that scales and meets business objectives.

Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with a focus on TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Proficiency with React, Express, Next.js, and MongoDB.
- Experience working in cloud environments, preferably GCP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote team.
- Prior experience with Shopify or e-commerce platforms is a huge plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
