STORYBOARD ARTIST (Storyboard & animatic for animation)

Are you a talented storyboard artist with experience doing storyboard's for animation?

We are looking for a highly skilled storyboard artist to turn our script into a storyboard for our animation team to animate.

We have concept art for most of the characters, and the script will give directions for what is visually happening in the episode.

Skills Required:

Storyboarding Expertise

• Proficiency in visual storytelling: Ability to translate scripts into engaging and age-appropriate visual narratives that resonate with young audiences.
• Strong drawing and illustration skills: Capable of creating clear and expressive character poses, emotions, and actions.
• Knowledge of shot composition and cinematography: Understands how to frame scenes effectively to guide the viewer’s eye and enhance the story's flow.
• Experience with pacing and timing: Ability to break down sequences with attention to timing, comedic beats, and dramatic moments tailored for children.
• Ability to turn storyboard into an animatic


Understanding of Animation and Children's Content

• Knowledge of animation principles: Familiar with principles like squash and stretch, exaggeration, and how to apply these to characters in a storyboard context.
• Experience with children's media: Understanding of age-appropriate content, themes, humor, and sensitivity toward what engages and inspires young audiences.
• Consistency in tone and character design: Able to maintain character consistency and respect visual style guides throughout the storyboards.
