About Us: We are an established and well-respected consulting group based in the US with partners in the Philippines. We are looking to expand our team with the following position: WordPress Developer. We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites for our clients. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.
To be a successful WordPress developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress developer can create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.

? Responsibilities:
? Collaborate closely with clients to understand their design requirements and branding guidelines, ensuring the alignment of design concepts with their vision.
? Create visually appealing and user-friendly WordPress websites, focusing on design aesthetics and usability.
? Actively participate in design discussions and brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas and concepts to enhance website aesthetics and user experience.
? Implement responsive web design techniques to ensure websites are accessible and visually engaging on various devices and screen sizes.
? Maintain high code quality that adheres to community standards for accessibility, CSS coding, PHP coding, HTML coding, JavaScript coding, and Semantic HTML5 standards using a consistent markdown style guide.
? Stay updated on the latest WordPress themes, plugins, and design trends, incorporating them into web design projects to deliver fresh and modern designs.
? Communicate effectively with clients, providing design updates, addressing feedback, and ensuring the successful execution of design projects.
? Document code, repository location, solutions, and methodologies for future reference or team member use.
? Requirements:
? A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, graphic design, web development, or a related field; or equivalent hands-on experience in designing WordPress websites.
? Demonstrable experience as a WordPress Designer, with a portfolio showcasing visually appealing and functional WordPress sites.
? Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) for crafting web assets.
? Proficiency in programming languages like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript (vanilla JS, jQuery, ES6), Angular, and React
? Familiarity with responsive design principles to ensure WordPress sites display correctly on various devices.
? Experience with leading page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg to streamline the design process.
? Understanding of SEO best practices and how to implement them in WordPress designs for better search engine rankings.
? Skilled in UX/UI principles to create intuitive and user-friendly website layouts and designs.
? Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, agile environment to meet project timelines.

? Additional Skills:
? Experience with e-commerce platforms
? Knowledge of web analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
