About the Role
As a Marketing & Operations Assistant, you will support both the marketing and operations teams by taking on a variety of tasks that help streamline daily activities and free up the founders' time to focus on content creation. This role requires a blend of administrative, marketing, and operational duties, ensuring smooth workflows across customer service, inventory management, digital marketing, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Administration:
Respond to customer inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with our team.
Manage customer orders, ensuring they are processed and shipped accurately.
Oversee inbox management, handle meeting scheduling, and manage the team calendar.
Set daily and weekly priorities, creating reminders to keep teams on track.
Operations Support:
Check and manage inventory, create reports, and order marketing stock as needed.
Support administrative tasks, such as consolidating Dropbox files to Google Drive.
Manage subscription tools and assist in setting up new platforms (e.g., Circle community platform).
Marketing Support:
Assist with outreach to new retailers and maintain ongoing communications with potential clients.
Create, edit, and optimise 8+ video ads per week for platforms such as Meta and TikTok.
Assist in executing paid social media campaigns, monitor performance, and adjust campaigns as necessary.
Conduct A/B tests on ad creatives and targeting strategies to optimise ad performance.
Analyse performance data (CTR, CPA, ROAS) and generate reports with actionable insights.
Community & Content Management:
Manage online communities, engage with customers, and foster brand loyalty across social media platforms.
Write and edit content briefs and scripts for new video content to ensure alignment with brand messaging.
Ad Hoc Tasks:
Support the marketing and operations team with various tasks as they arise, ensuring flexibility to meet evolving business needs.
Assist in the setup and management of new tools and processes, as required by the business.
Other Responsibilities
Make necessary process suggestions and improvements which can help the team.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Perform other related tasks and duties that may be assigned by the client later on.
About You
Experience and Skills:
3+ years of proven experience in marketing and operations, ideally within an e-commerce or early-stage business environment.
Hands-on experience in customer service, inventory management, and digital marketing (especially video content creation) is essential.
Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or CapCut, along with experience using marketing platforms like Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google Analytics.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage customer interactions and collaborate across teams.
Comfortable interpreting campaign data and performance metrics, using insights to refine marketing strategies.
Has proactive approach to identifying challenges and finding creative solutions.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with tools like Shopify, WooCommerce, Klaviyo, and CRM systems.
Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
Interest in e-commerce trends and influencer marketing strategies
