Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized virtual administrative support professional to assist a school psychologist with various tasks. The ideal candidate will have graduate-level training or a degree in psychology, formal training in scoring and administering psychological assessment batteries, and significant availability in the U.S. Eastern Time Zone between 9 a.m. and 1p.m .ET and/or 5p.m. to 8p.m. ET. While some tasks offer flexibility, the majority of work must be completed within this time block to coordinate with the school psychologist and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assessment Support:
• Accurately score psychological assessments and ensure all data is correctly entered.
• Administer and manage digital rating scales (e.g., behavior, emotional, academic) according to protocols.
• Communication:
• Make follow-up phone calls to parents regarding assessments, scheduling, and general inquiries.
• Provide timely updates and information to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders as directed.
• Scheduling:
• Manage and coordinate the psychologist’s calendar, including scheduling assessments, meetings, and follow-up appointments.
• Liaise with parents, students, and school staff to schedule sessions.
• Report Writing Assistance:
• Support the psychologist in drafting, editing, and finalizing psychological reports.
• Ensure all necessary information is compiled and formatted according to guidelines.
• General Administrative Tasks:
• Maintain and update student records and files in compliance with school policies and regulations.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed, including organizing documents, managing
Qualifications:
• Graduate-level training or a degree in psychology.
• Formal training in scoring and administering psychological assessment batteries.
• Significant availability in U.S. Eastern Time Zone between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with flexibility for some tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in digital tools for assessments, scheduling, and reporting.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Familiarity with virtual work environments and remote communication tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of school processes and working with school-aged children, parents, and educators.
• Previous experience in administrative support for educational or psychological services.
Work Environment:
• This is a fully remote position. Candidates must have a reliable internet connection and access to a computer.
