Short Form Video Editor/Storyteller

We are a premium dog health company. We are seeking an experienced and professional Short Form Video Editor (Google shorts, Reels, Tik Tok, etc) with experience curating social content to join our growing and dynamic Content Dept.

Our in-house studio production team creates original educational video content that molds our brand and creates amazing customers.

We need a specialist in:

Trailers, short form videos of education, video podcast style productions and pure educational content with voiceovers. These are for organic social videos and for social media ads.

Please be able to create emotionally engaging content that moves and inspires pet owners.

Candidates should be hard working and exceptionally adept at multiple editing tools, special effects, and B-roll and be adaptable to a fast-paced, ever-evolving editing schedule.

The ideal candidate will not only have the technical skills to edit videos but also the ability to source and curate engaging content tailored for a dog loving audience.

Familiarity with social media platforms such as TikTok, IG Reels, YT Shorts, and X is essential.

Please do NOT send a basic video with transcription that can be done on any software like Capcut, SubMagic, etc. These are basic video skills anyone can perform. Showcase your talent of editing, sound effects, music, and storytelling.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

$1,200 USD. 15 days PTO. 13th Month Paid. Performance Bonuses.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

Attach your best 2 clips of trailers/videos as your audition

Time management and work from home

Powerful computer(s) and equipemt + Internet speed

2+ years of professional video editing experience

Meet or exceed the style and caliber of examples

Manage media files and maintain the organization of footage in post-production

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud apps, particularly Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro and Photoshop

Knowledge of digital media, including codecs, image types, resolutions, and frame rates

Working knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics (preferred but not required)

Strong visual sensibility and pacing

Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects simultaneously

Ability to apply feedback from management effectively

Maintain a positive attitude that promotes a healthy work environment

Comfortable working under tight deadlines

Strong organizational skills

Experience in Assembly and Editorial

Audio Mixing experience (preferred but not required)

Color Correction experience (preferred but not required)
