We are searching for an expert in product discovery with a talent for identifying profitable products with low competition and high growth potential. If you have a knack for finding market gaps, calculating profitability, and identifying stable or growing trends—we want to hear from you!
Our goal is to build a portfolio of winning products, and we need someone who can deliver actionable insights and product ideas. This isn’t just about generating reports; we’re looking for someone who finds the right opportunities and can suggest launch strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Find market gaps and emerging trends that can be leveraged for new product launches.
2. Identify and analyze niche product opportunities with reasonable competition and strong profit margins.
3. Assess products based on potential sales volume, competition levels, and profitability calculations (understanding of Amazon fees and costs is essential).
4. Use data tools and platforms to conduct competitor and trend analysis.
5. Provide actionable product recommendations with insights into why a product will succeed.
6. Suggest launch strategies for products, including marketing, pricing, and positioning recommendations.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a product researcher, ideally in eCommerce or Amazon marketplaces.
2. Proficient in profit margin calculations, including understanding Amazon FBA fees, PPC costs, and other associated costs.
3. Familiarity with market research tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Keepa, Datadive. etc.).
4. Analytical mindset with the ability to back up recommendations with data-driven insights.
5. Excellent communication skills to present findings concisely and clearly.
