Scala/Spark Developer

We are seeking a skilled Scala/Spark Developer to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in developing scalable, high-performance applications and a deep understanding of AGILE methodologies. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data processing solutions using cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities:
-Design, develop, and maintain big data solutions using Scala and Spark.
-Implement scalable and optimized data processing pipelines for large datasets.
-Collaborate with data engineers and other developers to ensure end-to-end integration of systems.
-Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
-Participate in AGILE (SCRUM) sprints, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.
-Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues to ensure efficient handling of data.
-Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends to provide insights into continuous improvement.

Must-Have Requirements:
-3+ years of experience in Scala/Spark development.
-2+ years of experience working in an AGILE (SCRUM) environment.
-Availability to work in the CET time zone (excluding candidates residing in Spain).
-Experience with microservices architecture (Spring Boot).
-Exposure to Front-end development (Angular).
