JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Email Marketing Assistant to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, coding, and executing email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and retention. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in email design, **HTML/CSS coding**, and familiar with marketing automation platforms to ensure smooth execution and reporting of campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
Email Campaign Creation: Design visually compelling and responsive email templates using HTML/CSS, ensuring compatibility across multiple devices and email clients.
• Campaign Execution: Develop, test, and deploy email campaigns using marketing automation software (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp, Pardot, etc.).
• Content Personalization: Implement dynamic content, segmentation, and personalization strategies to optimize engagement and conversions.
• A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on email content, subject lines, send times, etc., to continually optimize campaign performance.
• Automation Workflows: Set up and manage drip campaigns, triggered emails, and other automated email flows to nurture leads and engage customers.
• Reporting & Analysis: Monitor email performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. Provide insights and recommendations to improve future campaigns.
• Compliance: Ensure email content complies with industry best practices and legal regulations such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the design, content, and digital marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall marketing goals.

Requirements:
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email design and experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp, Pardot).
• Design Skills: Experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva) to create email graphics and layouts.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to improve campaign performance.
• Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous in testing and ensuring emails render correctly across devices and platforms.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple campaigns with tight deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in email marketing or a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content.
Knowledge of email deliverability best practices.
Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization strategies.
Project management experience: Ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for multiple campaigns.
Content writing experience: Strong writing skills for creating compelling email copy that aligns with brand voice.
Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
We prefer that you work Pacific Standard Hours, but we can be flexible as long as we can find specific hours to co-ordinate.
