New Hope Trucking LLC is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Truck Dispatcher with expertise in semi-truck operations. This role involves coordinating drivers, booking loads, and ensuring efficient routing to maximize productivity. The position starts as part-time, with the opportunity to transition to full-time based on your performance and contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Load Planning & Booking: Identify, negotiate, and secure loads from freight brokers and load boards.
Driver Coordination: Assign loads to drivers, monitor schedules, and ensure drivers meet delivery deadlines.
Route Optimization: Plan efficient routes to reduce costs, maximize mileage, and ensure timely deliveries.
Issue Resolution: Provide support for drivers during trips, addressing delays, mechanical issues, and other challenges.
Customer Communication: Maintain open communication with shippers and brokers to provide real-time updates on deliveries.
Documentation Management: Ensure all documents, including Proof of Delivery (PODs), are collected and verified accurately.
Reporting: Track driver performance and load status, and report daily to management.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a truck dispatcher in semi-truck or logistics operations.
Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience with load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) and freight brokerage platforms.
Excellent English communication skills for seamless interaction with drivers, shippers, and brokers.
Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple drivers and loads simultaneously.
Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment.
