We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Staff Accountant to join our team, reporting directly to the Senior Staff Accountant. This position requires a strong foundation in accounting principles and a creative approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) responsibilities, reconcile bank statements, and support various financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

*Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
*Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment scheduling.
*Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and customer account reconciliation.
*Enter & reconcile all transactions within a timely manner
*Assist the Senior Staff Accountant in developing and implementing innovative financial strategies.

Future Goals:
*Identify and resolve complex financial discrepancies with creative and effective solutions.
*Collaborate with various teams to integrate innovative financial insights into business operations.
*Reconcile financial reports, including those generated from Shopify, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
*Contribute fresh and forward-thinking ideas to strategic financial planning and analysis.


Preferred Qualifications:

*Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
*Proven ability to manage AP & AR functions effectively.
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially in reconciling bank statements.
*Proficiency in digital tools and accounting software, with a readiness to adopt new technologies.
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and engagingly.
*Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills:

*Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
*Bookkeeping experience with Acumatica preferred
*A proactive approach to process improvement and efficiency.
*A passion for continuous learning and development in financial practices.
