We are seeking a SEMrush Specialist to manage our SEMrush platform, analyse its data, and provide actionable recommendations to optimise our clients' digital strategies.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SEMrush Specialist to oversee the management and analysis of SEMrush data, offering insights and recommendations to various internal teams. This role is critical for developing and refining SEO and digital marketing strategies, based on in-depth analysis of SEMrush data. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in using SEMrush and have a strong understanding of SEO, PPC, and competitive analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor the SEMrush platform to track SEO performance, keyword rankings, and overall site health for our clients.
Analyse SEMrush data, providing detailed reports on SEO, PPC campaigns, competitor analysis, backlink profiles, and content performance.
Develop and recommend strategies for improving organic search rankings, increasing website traffic, and optimising digital marketing efforts based on SEMrush insights.
Collaborate with content, SEO, and marketing teams to align strategies with SEMrush data, ensuring all digital efforts are data-driven.
Conduct keyword research using SEMrush to identify high-potential keywords and provide recommendations for content optimisation.
Identify and track competitors' activities, providing insights on their strengths and weaknesses using SEMrush competitive analysis tools.
Stay up to date with SEMrush updates, new features, and industry trends to ensure we are maximising the platform's potential.
Generate regular reports on SEMrush performance metrics for different teams, including SEO health, keyword movements, and traffic changes.
Offer training and support to internal teams on SEMrush best practices and usage to ensure everyone is leveraging the platform effectively.
Work with teams to ensure technical SEO issues flagged by SEMrush are addressed and resolved.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in using SEMrush as a core tool for digital marketing analysis and strategy development.
Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, keyword research, and competitive analysis.
Ability to interpret SEMrush data and translate it into actionable insights and strategies.
Experience in creating reports and dashboards that effectively communicate SEMrush findings to various teams.
Familiarity with SEO best practices, on-page optimisation, and technical SEO.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise recommendations based on impact.
Strong communication skills to present data and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with digital tools like HubSpot, Basecamp, and SharePoint or similar for managing workflows and collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in SEO strategy development, using SEMrush data as a foundation.
Knowledge of content marketing and its relationship to SEO performance.
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other digital marketing tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a remote work environment.
