JOB OVERVIEW

We create educational video content for managers and leaders of the world's biggest companies.

We posting 4 x 15 minute videos per week across 2 YouTube channels. Our video editor will re-purpose this long-form content so that we can also post shorts every day on the following social media channels:

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager on a long-term basis to manage all activities after the video editing stage.

Responsibilities:

• Publish completed video content on all the social media channels listed above.
• Develop platform-specific posting schedules to optimise reach.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and initiating discussions.
• Monitor performance analytics and refine strategy to improve engagement.
• Create supplementary social content to accompany the videos like captions and thumbnail text.
• Update tasks in our Asana project management tool.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience managing social media business accounts (not personal social media).
• Understanding of each platform’s best practices.
• Ability to work independently and with team members.
• Strong written communication skills.
• The attention to detail which most people say they have - but actually don't have
• Strong English written communication skills.
• Delivers work consistently on time, with an ability to meet deadlines without exception (no excuses).

Terms:

• 4 to 5 hours per day.
• Monday to Friday (5 days/week).
• USD 3 per hour.
• Start 21 October
• Paid fortnightly into your bank account.
