YouTube / Long-Form Video Editor

Are you a creative video editor with a passion for crafting engaging content? We're looking for a part-time video editor to help grow our YouTube channel and create stunning video content for the Joyful Crafting Club and our other product-based projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit long-form YouTube videos (crafting tutorials, product reviews, etc.) and optimize them for engagement.
- Create short-form video content (reels, shorts, etc.) from longer videos for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Edit teaching tutorials for the Joyful Crafting Club, ensuring clear, visually appealing educational content.
- Collaborate on editing product-based videos to highlight new releases and creative projects.
- Follow branding guidelines, ensuring videos align with our fun, creative, and joyful style.
- Work closely with me to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work that resonates with our audience.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in editing YouTube videos or similar content.
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Ability to create engaging short-form content from long-form videos.
- Understanding of YouTube optimization techniques (thumbnails, descriptions, tagging, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for enhancing video content.
- Willingness to grow with our business and take on new challenges as we expand.
- Familiarity with crafting, DIY projects, or product-based video content is a plus!
