Video Editor with Podcast Editing Experience

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Video Editor with a strong background in podcast editing to join our dynamic media team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting visually compelling and cohesive video content, with a focus on integrating high-quality podcast elements. You’ll work closely with our creative team to produce engaging multimedia content that enhances our brand and resonates with our audience across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Video Editing: Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, high-quality content for various formats, including social media, websites, YouTube, and other distribution channels.
- Podcast Production: Oversee and execute the editing of audio-visual podcasts, ensuring clear audio quality, smooth transitions, and the integration of graphics or visual elements.
- Post-Production: Manage the entire post-production process, including color grading, sound mixing, motion graphics, and any necessary effects.
- Content Integration: Seamlessly integrate podcast audio into video content, syncing visuals with voiceovers, interviews, and soundbites.
- Collaboration: Work closely with producers, scriptwriters, and content creators to ensure video content aligns with the overall creative direction and brand messaging.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality and consistency across all content, conducting thorough reviews and edits to ensure the final product meets all project objectives.
- File Management: Organize and manage video and audio assets, ensuring efficient workflows and easy accessibility for the team.
- Staying Updated: Stay current with the latest video editing software, tools, and trends, as well as developments in podcast production to ensure innovative and cutting-edge content creation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of professional experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing both video and podcast projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Audition, etc.) and other video/audio editing tools.
- Strong podcast editing experience: Skilled in audio post-production, sound design, and noise reduction techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of video codecs, formats, and delivery standards for various platforms.
- Experience with color grading and motion graphics.
- Excellent storytelling ability through video and audio mediums.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with livestreaming platforms and workflows.
- Knowledge of SEO and content optimization strategies.
- Experience working on branded content or corporate communication projects
