Position Title: HR Business Partner (HRBP)/HR Manager
Location: Remote (Philippines)
Employment Type: Full-time, Contractor (Virtual Assistant)
Reporting To: Head of People
Job Summary:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will work closely with the Head of People to support TurFresh and Express Chipping's HR operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategies. The HRBP will be responsible for executing HR initiatives, managing employee relations, supporting talent acquisition, and implementing people management strategies across both companies.
Key Responsibilities:
People & Culture Management:
Assist in the talent acquisition process by coordinating interviews, conducting initial screenings, and managing candidate communications.
Support onboarding processes to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly.
Manage employee relations by addressing issues, providing guidance, and supporting conflict resolution efforts.
Support training and development initiatives by coordinating learning sessions and tracking employee progress.
Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs in alignment with company policies.
Maintain and update HR policies and ensure compliance with local labor laws and company standards.
HR Operations:
Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
Support payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with the finance team.
Provide HR analytics and insights by preparing regular reports on HR metrics.
Assist in managing HR systems and tools, ensuring they are effectively utilized and updated.
Strategic HR Initiatives:
Support the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Assist in change management processes by coordinating communication plans and supporting affected employees.
Partner with leadership to develop and execute employee engagement and retention strategies.
Support performance management processes, including the administration of performance reviews and feedback sessions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
30-Day KPIs:
Onboarding & Integration: Complete onboarding and become familiar with the organizational structure, culture, and processes of both TurFresh and Express Chipping.
Talent Acquisition Support: Successfully assist in at least 3 recruitment processes, including screening and interview coordination.
HR System Familiarization: Gain proficiency in using the HR systems and tools utilized by the organization.
60-Day KPIs:
Employee Relations Management: Effectively handle at least 2 employee relations cases with guidance from the Head of People.
Training Support: Coordinate at least 1 training or development session, ensuring smooth execution and positive feedback from participants.
Policy Compliance: Conduct an initial review of company policies and suggest at least 2 improvements or updates.
90-Day KPIs:
Employee Engagement Initiatives: Launch at least 1 employee engagement initiative or survey to gather feedback on workplace satisfaction.
Performance Management Support: Assist in the preparation and administration of performance reviews for the quarter.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Present an HR metrics report with insights and recommendations for improving HR processes.
Post-Trial KPIs:
Talent Acquisition Efficiency: Reduce the average time-to-fill for open positions by 15% compared to the previous quarter.
Employee Retention: Implement at least 2 new initiatives aimed at improving employee retention and reducing turnover.
HR Operations Improvement: Identify and implement at least 3 process improvements in HR operations, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced administrative workload.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role, preferably in a remote setting.
Strong understanding of HR practices, local labor laws, and compliance.
Proficiency in HR software and tools; experience with data analysis and reporting is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
