Freelance Web Developer

We are seeking a freelance web developer to assist with maintaining and updating several websites, including those built on WordPress, Webflow, and Django. The ideal candidate will need to be capable of implementing changes, making updates, and performing routine maintenance. This will be a flexible, part-time role, working a few hours/days per month as needed.

Technical Qualification Requirements:
- Proficiency in WordPress: Experience with custom themes, plugins, and page builders. Ability to work with the WordPress CMS for content updates, troubleshooting, and customising functionalities.
- Experience with Webflow: Ability to modify and update Webflow websites, including working with CMS collections, custom code embedding, and ensuring responsive design.
- Knowledge of Django: Familiarity with Django web frameworks for implementing changes to back-end features, including database-driven updates and content modifications.
- Coding Skills: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Python (for Django) to ensure seamless updates and troubleshoot existing code.
- Familiarity with Version Control: Experience using version control tools like Git is preferred (but not required) for tracking changes across sites.
- Experience with Site Optimisation: Ability to perform basic SEO optimisations, page speed improvements, and ensure the websites are up to date with the latest web standards.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow through on tasks, make suggestions for improvements, and ensure the websites remain fully functional and user-friendly.
