Technical Project Manager

Job Description:

As a Senior Technical Project Manager at Moder, you will lead the successful delivery of our software products by managing cross-functional teams and overseeing the execution of complex technical projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards, while effectively leveraging a range of technologies including Python, machine learning, data science, MongoDB, Java full stack/backend, Java drools, React, and Angular.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning and Execution: Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of software products, taking into account technical requirements, resource allocation, and dependencies.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams of software engineers, data scientists, and other technical professionals to achieve project objectives and meet client expectations.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
• Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impact on project delivery and overall business objectives.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, clients, and external partners.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define testing strategies and ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and fulfill technical requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization, tooling enhancements, and skills development within the project team.



Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience managing technical projects in a software development environment, with a focus on Python, machine learning, data science, MongoDB, Java full stack/backend, Java drools, React, and Angular technologies.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and architecture.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working in Agile or other iterative development methodologies is preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.


This role will be working onsite in Mandaue City, Cebu.
