Web Researcher, Writer, Assistant Editor

We are launching a ground-breaking new service centered around the technology marketplace, and we need a very organized and detail-oriented full-time researcher/writer/editor to join our team and take us to the next level.

This position is a key part of our team, and will be responsible for in-depth research, detailed write-ups and editing content for our core informational products. This requires a good level of technical ability to be able to figure out the key aspects of the subjects we cover, do detailed comparisons between them and be able to distill that information in an easily-digested format that could include infographics, charts and checklists. The actual documentation and graphics would be up to you to come up with, so creativity in organizing data is also a must. Although graphic design skills would help, that could also be done by our in-house graphic artist with your input. The end goal here is to find a very detail oriented and organized individual that can take our core concepts and apply them to our products. You must be able to take technical concepts and be able to break them down and compare them to others, but we are looking for a technically skilled researcher, there is no requirement for programming skills or IT experience to excel in this roll.

The writing sample could also be technical like medical or scientific subjects as well, since that would show the ability to do the detailed research we are looking for. Also, if you have any additional technical skills such as blog posting and configuration, Wordpress installation or similar skills (or want to explore them) please highlight those in your application - we are always looking for ways to increase the skills of our growing staff. This is not a requirement, however, as our prime focus on this position will be research and writing.
