Introduction to Ibex Australia
Ibex is a growing, innovative leader in the industrial and commercial plumbing products space. We are wholesaler’s of pipes and fittings, with head office and main warehouse located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and 3 other warehouses located in Australia: Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. As we continue to scale, we’re currently looking for someone with technical ability and forward-thinking approach to take charge of our NetSuite system and help us optimize its use in each of our business departments.

Ibex and NetSuite
Ibex have been using NetSuite Mid-Market Cloud Service since 2013. When this was originally setup for us it was configured very poorly and only now, years later, as we are trying to grow and develop our business, we have realised how behind we are in our ERP technology and functionality.
Current Challenge
Our current biggest challenge is the manual systems used in our Operation processes every day. This includes generating purchase orders for suppliers, distributing picking tickets to the required dispatch warehouse locations, picking/packing and fulfilling orders. We understand all of these process could be replaced or improved with NetSuite modules or SuiteApps available to improve efficiency. We do already have the Advanced Inventory module installed in NetSuite and have recently had the Demand & Supply module installed in our sandbox. However the configuration and testing is taking our support partner a lot longer than expected and has been very challenging for us to see through.
What we are looking for
We are now looking for someone who has had experience in working with this module and other NetSuite modules including those listed below, to join our team and passionately work on our NetSuite system to improve efficiency. This is a huge opportunity as there is so much required to really take NetSuite to the new level for Ibex.
Following demo’s from Oracle on the below three modules, we decided these where the modules we required to begin improving our Operations practices. If you are successful in this role, the first projects would involve the below:
1. Assisting with the completion of configuration/testing of the Supply & Demand NetSuite Module in our existing NetSuite environment.
2. Setting up NetSuite in preparation to deploy the Advanced Order management Module.
a. Execution of Advanced Order management Module configuration to suit Ibex’s business model.
3. Setting up NetSuite in preparation to deploy the NetSuite WMS. (Or an alternative NetSuite native WMS system)
a. Configuring rules in NetSuite required to run the WMS on both computers and scanners. This may require customization and scripting.
b. Setting this up to run across all 4 warehouse locations.
We are also keen for someone with experience with NetSuite reporting, creating saved searches, workflows and other customization, as this will be key to successful implementation of the various NetSuite upgrades.
We also integrate NetSuite with WooCommerce for our website, so we would really love to find someone with experience with WooCoomerce as well, however this is not critical.
This is a very exciting role with a lot of opportunity for someone to show their NetSuite skills and become a long-term employee working on continual improvement of our NetSuite system.
