Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a detail oriented, tech savvy, and thorough Senior Accountant to join our rapidly growing company. In this role, you will be an individual contributor and report directly to the Accounting Manager. This position will be responsible for accounting of daily transactions, month-end close reconciliations of assigned accounts within 4 business days every month, and be part of process improvements by completing projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager. To succeed in this position, you will be highly accurate and efficient, a quick learner, and critical thinker.

Senior Accountant tasks and responsibilities

? Responsible for month-end close processes and ensure timely and accurate reporting including review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance explanations
? Adheres to accounting processes and procedures that set by the management and department
? Ensure timeliness, and accuracy of data posting to the general ledger
? Coordinate with internal teams to ensure important information is well understood and financial data flows to the general ledger properly
? Analyze data to ensure accruals are appropriate and accurately recorded
? Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment through collaboration and communicating to the team including its senior members
? Work collaboratively with the team to ensure that department objectives are met, completely and accurately, regarding deadlines, controls, documentation
? Compliance on submission on document requests in relation to audit and due diligence
? Ad hoc projects and requests
? Perform other general duties as necessary/assigned

Requirements and Qualifications
? Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Accounting, Business, or Finance
? Must be a CPA, CA
? 5+ years’ experience in corporate finance or accounting role
? Strong technical research skills, including experience with US GAAP
? Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases, tech savvy is a must
? Proficiency with Google Sheets and Excel preferred
? Experience with NetSuite is a plus
? Ability to navigate multiple sources of information quickly and accurately
? Superior math skills and an analytical mind
? Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details
? Exceptional organizational skills and aptitude for numbers
? Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
? Outstanding phone and email etiquette
? Able to thrive in deadline-driven environment and think outside of the box
? Organizational skills permitting the effective management of several concurrent projects and priorities.
? Strong interpersonal skills.
? Ability to complete work in a confidential manner and in a fast-working, constantly changing environment.
? Willing to work in a night shift schedule and a WFH set-up
