Medical assistant

Looking for Virtual Medical assistant for a small Obesity practice open 3 half days a week. Previous US. healthcare system VA experienced is a MUST. No other candidates would be considered.

Job responsibilities include:

-Responding to phone calls, texts, emails, scheduling new and follow up patients.

- Enter information in patient profile and chart from intake form including meds, BP , weight, diagnosis, med histor

- Do prior auths for meds.

- Fax notes to other physicians

- Follow up on referrals from other physicians

--Doing phone accountability checks as scheduled.

- Posting on social media - Facebook Clinic page, personal page, instagram , Tik tok, Linked in in free time atleast once a week.
