Financial Accountant & Planning Analyst (ON)

Position Requirements:

Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience (accounting or finance roles)
Proficiency in QuickBooks.
Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience in US payroll reconciliation and general accounting tasks is required.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Process and upload bi-weekly payroll to our payroll service company.
Enter vendor and supplier invoices into accounts payable accurately and timely.
Conduct daily reviews of all credit card transactions to ensure compliance.
Follow up with employees via email, text, and phone calls regarding expense receipt submissions.
Review receipts for unauthorized transactions or purchases and address discrepancies.
Analyze daily vehicle fuel charges and match them to assigned vehicles for accuracy.
Reconcile expense accounts to maintain financial integrity.
Pull and prepare financial reports to assist management in decision-making.
Perform data entry tasks as needed to support financial operations.
Assist in budget preparation and forecasting to ensure financial health.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
