Job Description:
FireBoard Labs, a Kansas City-based technology startup, is seeking a talented software developer to assist in the development of a custom marketing analytics platform. This position will focus on the creation of a Java-based application that interfaces with social network APIs to extract and analyze marketing data. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project with the potential for long-term collaboration, based on the successful completion of the first phase.
Phase 1 Scope of Work:
-Develop a Java application to interface with the
-Export the extracted data to a flat file (CSV), with the potential for future database integration.
Potential Future Phases:
-Design a flexible database schema to store marketing analytics from various platforms
-Implement a Postgresql database and integrate it with the Phase 1 application.
-Expand the application to support additional social networks and advertising channels.
Basic Qualifications:
-Proven experience with Java application development.
-Familiarity with API integrations, particularly social network APIs
-Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and storage (CSV, database concepts).
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bonus Qualifications:
-Experience with Postgresql or similar relational databases.
-Knowledge of other social network APIs (Instagram,
-Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and security best practices.
-Previous experience working on marketing analytics or advertising data systems.
Compensation:
The compensation will be commensurate with experience, with potential for more work upon successful completion of Phase 1.
