Our company provides engineering services to a variety of clients. We are looking to be able to support more customers, which requires additional Designers or Engineers capable of 3D CAD modeling. This gives the candidate the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, such as sheet metal, machined parts, plastic injection molded parts, and more. The lead engineer (employer) will provide specific requirements for the employee to perform, including:
-Design various parts and assemblies using SolidWorks
-Create engineering drawings using SolidWorks (includes placing various views, dimensions, annotations, and tables, as directed by lead engineer)

Due to our growing company, this is an "as-needed" position, with different weeks having different workloads, sometimes no work per week and sometimes 20 hours per week (target is to eventually have work every week). Candidate must:
-Have at least 5 years of experience designing with SolidWorks (parts, assemblies, and drawings)
-Have a university/college engineering degree
-Be familiar with Sheet Metal and Weldment functions within SolidWorks
-Be attentive to detail and have an understanding of manufacturing methods
-Communicate in English
-Have SolidWorks 2022, 2023, or 2024 license
-Have a reliable internet connection

-Use Slack to communicate project details
