*There are 2 main requirements, a combination of both is the best, however I understand that it’s quite a rare case therefore applicants that meet at least one of them or are close to meeting one of them(slightly lower numbers) are welcome.

-You have been the COO of a remote company and grew it from low 8 figures per year to Multi 9 figures per year.

-You have been the COO of an ECOMMERCE company in the range of 50M/year - Multi 9 figures per year.


The Company:

We are an ecommerce company selling over the counter hearing aids in the United States.
We specialize in direct response marketing on Facebook ads and other platforms and we have been growing from mid 5 figures per month in may, which is when the company was founded, to multiple 7 figures per month in the span of 3 months.
The reason for the fast paced growth is the founder’s experience and other team members’ experience. We don’t plan to stop this growth now and in fact are currently on the way to 8 figures per month and are looking to hire a world class COO that wants to join us and help us get there.
Our goal is to either exit within the next few years for multiple 9 figures or, depending on how the situation evolves, try to grow to 10 figures and exit then. I am mentioning all of these financial details to give you a better idea when it comes to the equity section that you will find below in this job post.


The Founder’s Goal for this hire:

I believe this is a pretty non-typical section to find in a job post, however I want to make my intentions clear here.
I am looking for a world class COO that “has already done it” and that knows how to get where we want to get to. Someone that loves growth and chaos, because we are only going to continue to grow from here and it’s not going to be a slow and comfortable growth.
I am looking for someone that wants to provide a lot of value and earn very well, I am a firm believer that everyone here should be compensated based on the value provided.


The Position:

We are looking for someone to manage all of our operations from A to Z.
The goal is to have someone more experienced than me(the founder) running them and growing them, so that I can focus more on marketing and the product.


The Team:

Our team is fully remote, and spread across the world, from me in Dubai to employees in Indonesia, Philippines, Pakistan, Georgia, Croatia etc… We have around 60 employees as of now. The bulk of the team is in customer support, but even the marketing and video editing team is getting bigger.


Equity:

I realized pretty quickly that there are almost no big companies where the equity is fully held by 1 person, to have fast growth and to build something big you need to create an appealing opportunity for world class talent, essentially creating an environment where everyone can grow together and reach their financial and non financial goals.
This is why for this position, and also for others in the company, I have decided to roll out equity.

Equity won’t start on day 1, we will roll it out after a while of working together, however day 1 there is going to be profit share on the ebitda that is going to match the same % as the future equity.
Essentially it will be almost the same in the short term, and by the time we reach the exit, it will already have been converted into equity. This is the high overview plan, further details will be discussed in the next steps.


Salary:

The Initial Salary is extremely dependent on your background and the value that you are going to provide to the company from day one. The higher the value you are going to provide(based on your track record), the higher the salary. I honestly don’t want to stop world class talent applying for this position, therefore I am not going to set any salary. I don’t want that anyone may think “this is not enough for me” instead I want those exact people to apply and to match their salary expectations. Because I have no issues in paying very well when the value provided is very high.
