Higher Road To You (HRTY) is looking for a passionate and creative YouTube Video Editor to join our team. We’ll provide 5 videos per week, each under 15 minutes long, along with YouTube titles, descriptions, and hashtags.
We’re seeking someone who’s committed to building a long-term relationship, working with us for years, not just weeks or months. If you're excited about learning, growing, and helping our channel thrive, this is the role for you!
Our channel focuses on topics like nutrition, physical health, self-esteem, and healthy relationships, delivering high-quality, engaging content to our audience. As a key member of our team, you’ll play a vital role in bringing this content to life and ensuring it remains relevant and engaging.

Key Responsibilities:
• Edit YouTube videos to create high-quality, professional, and engaging content.
• Create simple, consistent thumbnails for each video.
• Edit the video background as needed.
• Add "subscribe" and "like" prompts during the video.
• Include hashtags above the video title.
• Add B-roll footage where appropriate.
• Include a "recommended next video" at the end of each video.
• Utilize AI video editing tools such as CapCut, Aden Podcast Enhance, OpisClip, Vidyo.ai, Gling AI, and other emerging technologies to enhance the editing process.
• Incorporate text overlays, transitions, and animations as needed.
• Ensure videos are optimized for YouTube (thumbnails, SEO tags, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with the content creator to bring their vision to life.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Bonus: A $10 bonus will be provided for any video that receives 10,000 views within a week of posting.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in video editing, particularly for YouTube channels.
• Strong understanding of consistent branding and visual identity.
• Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Experience with AI video editing tools such as CapCut, Aden Podcast Enhance, OpisClip, Vidyo.ai, Gling AI, etc.
• Knowledge of YouTube best practices (thumbnails, video SEO, and platform algorithms).
• Creativity and a strong sense of storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and committed to producing top-quality work.

• Experience with creating YouTube thumbnails.
• Knowledge of motion graphics or animations.
• Basic understanding of YouTube analytics and audience engagement strategies.
