SEO Specialist

We are seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) freelance contractor to join our team as an SEO Specialist. The ideal candidate should have great editorial sense to execute a content audit, refresh, and consolidation overhaul for our website, specifically the blog to increase traffic and conversions.



Experience needed: In-house experience creating and executing end-to-end content-driven SEO strategies for B2B enterprise or startup brands that have driven meaningful conversion and/or revenue growth.



About the work

Develop criteria for underperformance
Assess and identify underperforming pages
Determine whether to delete, merge, or refresh page and make recommendations
Execute on recommendations
Monitor site performance
Update internal links, connecting the site with its other sections
Screen for technical issues such as broken links, 404, orphan pages, etc
Proactively surface opportunities for enhancement and improvement
Set up rank tracking and prioritization of top pages
Data pulls for analysis and optimization opportunities
Build SOPs and establish company's SEO best practices
Keyword research and strategy
Create article briefs for writers to execute


Boxes to check

At least 4 years experience as an SEO Specialist
Demonstrated success in conducting SEO analysis and implementing effective SEO strategies.
Proven experience working with in-house experience creating and executing end-to-end content-driven SEO strategies for B2B enterprise or startup brands
Ability to summarize complex cases in a meaningful and brief manner
Over communicator and problem solver
Ability to work independently without direct supervision.


About the role

Full-time position at $12/hr, working 40 hours per week
Night shifts with fixed weekends off
